Week 5 RBs Start Em, Sit Em

Start Em's

David Montgomery, Chicago Bears RB vs Oakland Raiders (in London)

Chicago figures to shift to even more a run heavy offense in the absence of Mitch Trubisky. Enter David Montgomery. Coming off of a career high 24 touched lat week against the stour Minnesota front seven, one would only expect more of the same this week against the middle of the pack Oakland run defense.

David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals RB @ Cincinnati Bengals

All you really need to know is that the Bengals have by far the worst run defense in the league. James Conner and Jaylen Samuels combined for 50 fantasy points in an average ESPN league last week against Cincinnati. Even with Carlos Dunlap and Carl Lawson back in the lineup, Johnson is easily a top ten play this week.

Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville Jaguars RB @ Carolina Panthers

Carolina has the toughest pass defense in the league right now. Because of this, all signs point toward a tough day for young Gardner Minshew. Fournette is coming off a career day with 245 total yards last week. Nobody should expect that again, but another productive week figures to be on the horizon versus the Panthers.

Sit Em's

Melvin Gordon, Los Angelas RB vs Denver Broncos

Even though Denver's front seven got shredded last week versus Jacksonville, Gordon might not be a great play this week. Anthony Lynn has been adamant about getting him involved early, but Austin Ekeler has been one of the best backs in the league so far this year, and he surely will still get some touches. If Gordon is on your team, and you can afford to do so, keeping him out for the week to test the waters wouldn't be a bad idea.

Josh Jacobs, Oakland Raiders RB vs Chicago Bears (in London)

Jacobs hasn't lived up to his first round hype so far this year, and while a breakout could very well be in the cards in the coming weeks, he draws a very tough matchup against the loaded Bears defensive front. Not to mention he'll be running at Khalil Mack, who is playing the team that traded him away just over a year ago.

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans RB vs Buffalo Bills

Buffalo and Tennessee clash this week in what figures to be a low scoring affair. Henry should get a decent amount of touches, but his production has been on the decline lately in terms of yards per carry. Buffalo has one of the better defenses in the league, so Henry probably won't have his best day.
